Orbit — Support

support

Orbit is simple by design. One person a day, logged in 10 seconds. If something isn't working right, we want to know.

Common Questions
How does Orbit choose who to suggest each day?
Orbit looks at how long it's been since you last contacted each person, their tie strength, and your recent patterns. It balances your week across strong ties, weak ties, and dormant connections so no one gets left behind.
Can I skip a suggestion?
Yes. Tap "skip today" on the home screen. You get one free skip per week without breaking your streak. Orbit will suggest someone else or let you rest for the day.
Does Orbit access my phone contacts?
No. Orbit never syncs with your phone contacts, social accounts, or any external service. You add people manually. That's intentional. Your orbit is curated, not imported.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device. Orbit doesn't have user accounts, cloud sync, or servers that store your information. Your contacts and logs stay on your phone.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your streak resets, but your data doesn't. Everyone is still in your orbit. The suggestions keep coming. Just open the app and start again.
Can I delete someone from my orbit?
Yes. Go to People, find the person, and remove them. No confirmation dialog, no guilt. People come and go.

Orbit — Privacy Policy

privacy

Last updated: February 21, 2026

Orbit does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

What Orbit stores

Orbit stores the names, tie strengths, contact logs, and notes that you enter manually. This data lives entirely on your device using local storage. Nothing is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

What Orbit does not collect

Orbit does not collect analytics, usage data, crash reports, device identifiers, location data, IP addresses, or any other personal information. There are no tracking pixels, no third-party SDKs, no advertising frameworks. The app does not access your phone contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or any other system feature.

Accounts and registration

Orbit does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no login, no email collection. You open the app and start using it.

Third-party services

Orbit does not integrate with any third-party services. No analytics providers, no advertising networks, no social platforms. The app runs entirely offline after installation.

Data sharing

Orbit does not share any data with anyone. There is no data to share because nothing leaves your device.

Data deletion

To delete all your data, delete the app from your device. Since everything is stored locally, deleting the app removes all information permanently. You can also remove individual people and logs from within the app at any time.

Children's privacy

Orbit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since Orbit collects no data from any user, this applies universally.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Since Orbit doesn't collect email addresses, we can't notify you directly. We recommend checking this page occasionally.
